If you’re a fan of vintage Hollywood film, you might be interested in this new property for sale featuring beautiful stone fireplaces and vintage features. The luxurious home, which once belonged to Hollywood actor Bela Lugosi, famous for playing the original count Dracula in the 1931 movie.

 

Listed on the market at $3 million according to the Daily Mail, this property has all of the drama and luxury you would expect from a Hollywood star’s home. Even though the mansion has been lived in by a whole host of other celebrities such as Kathy Bates and Jon Cryer, many of the Tudor styled home’s original features remain from when Bela lived at the property.

 

Built in 1932 by design architect Frank W Green is has 3,484 square feet of space, featuring ballroom size living quarters, marble and stone fireplace as well as a magnificent library and huge iron plated windows.

 

There are also a few modern additions to the house of a gym, underground spa, wine cellar and an outside stone shower. The mansion is well known in Hollywood as a haunted house, and in 1980 Sylvia Browne was asked to the property with a paranormal investigation team.

 

The location of the property sits just below the iconic Hollywood sign (though at the time Lugosi lived there, it was originally named ‘Hollywoodland’) and he and his wife would often enjoy hiking the hills with their pet dogs. The Hungarian/American actor lived at the property between 1934 and 1937 and died in 1956 at the age of 73.
