It’s been completely stripped and re-finished to a lustrous black. Victorian slate fire surround (ASS-1649) a very substantial Victorian slate fire surround with corbelled capitals and attractive stencil work, a very elegant Victorian slate fire surround which has been hand stripped and polished to a lustrous black finish. Measures 66”wide x 48”high with an opening 38”wide x 38”high. Priced at £1700.00.

Victorian tiled insert (ATI-1650) a very appealing Victorian tiled insert. This is another example of the locally made ‘Stanley’ grate produced from the early 1880s by John Smith & sons. This one has a hood panel with ‘’Welcome home’’ cast into it. A great example with a wonderful set of original geometric tiles. Comes complete with a new fire back suitable for use with a gas or solid fuel fire. Measures 38’’wide x 38’’high with a 16’’ fire opening. Priced at £750.00
