17th century style oak surround.

A wonderful Victorian oak surround hand carved in the 17th century style. The mantle shelf has a decoratively carved foliate edge, the lower frieze has numerous foliate motifs with chamfered borders, the legs have large panels depicting diamond and floral designs again with chamfered borders. The surround  is of doweled construction and has a rich mellow colour with a good patina. 70''wide x 48''high. Opening 35''wide x 36''high.
